The satisfaction of knowing you are helping sustain and grow the arts and humanities in Jefferson County.
Membership Levels for Everyone:
Artists, Poets, Writers, Performers, $30 yearly: AHA! offers you the opportunity to expand your audience through promoting your work and upcoming events in the monthly AHA! Voice Online e-newsletter, on the website calendar and in the Member Directory on the website, where you may have a link to your own website. You can add your contacts to AHA!'s e-news list as well. Through AHA!'s Community Grants and Teaching Arts Creatively programs, we provide opportunities for funding special projects or programs that help build your audience and your business.
Teachers, $20 yearly: AHA!'s Teaching Arts Creatively Program provides financial support to teachers to promote arts education across the curriculum, and to enrich each student's creative learning experience. Your membership helps us expand the number of projects AHA! funds and ultimately, the number of students who have access to the arts. Teachers who receive funding from AHA! will have their projects displayed on the AHA! website.
Individuals, $25 yearly: Membership in AHA! is open to everyone. Becoming a member of AHA! is your way to help us advance our community through arts and culture. Your membership enables AHA! to provide financial and operational support to a wide range of artists and arts organizations throughout Jefferson County, and to provide Jefferson County teachers with additional resources to enhance arts in education. Seniors (62+) and fulltime students receive a discount rate of $15.
Non-profit Organizations, $75 yearly. AHA! invites your non-profit organization to partner with us in promoting the arts and humanities in Jefferson County. As a partner your recognize the value of the arts and humanities in all aspects of life in Jefferson County. Our partners receive the opportunity to promote your activities through AHA! and work collaboratively with AHA! to promote arts and humanities activities to the communities served by your organization.
Businesses: AHA! offers three levels of business membership: Promoter $150, Producer $250, Choreographer $500.
We invite your company to help support the arts and humanities in Jefferson County and Eastern West Virginia by becoming a business member of AHA! “Quality of life” plays an essential role in the economic and commercial viability of our community. The arts and humanities in Jefferson County are vibrant and significantly contribute to the quality of life in the County.
The arts and humanities also play an important role in economic development in Jefferson County. Since 1975, AHA! has successfully provided operational and financial support to the arts, artists and arts organizations, as well as historical and other humanities organizations. AHA! supports the business of arts and humanities in Jefferson County, offering the creative community more opportunity to do business in Jefferson County as well as attracting artists, writers, performers, and arts and humanities organizations to the County.
Your support of AHA! through a business membership will help keep AHA! financially strong and actively engaged in serving the community and enhancing the business climate.
Businesses that are current members of the Jefferson County Chamber of Commerce may deduct 10% from AHA! business membership rates.
All business members are recognized in the Partnership pages on the AHA! website.
Choreographers have their company logo and a link to their website on the Partnership page, and Producers have a link to their website.
